Mini Knightsbridge Page

The Knightsbridge was produced in left hand drive format for the European market. One car was made in Gold in Right Hand drive Japanese specification as a publicity car, along with a 'standard' left hand drive variant (now converted to right hand drive). These two cars can be seen on the press / publicity car page (V203LOE the Japanese specification one can also be seen above)

The Knightsbridge were available in Gold, British Racing Green and Black.

These cars came with the sportspack 13" alloys and wheel arch extensions and a cream leather interior.

The classic range launched in 2000 for the UK consisted of 3493 cars and for Europe 1707 cars. Data from MG Rover confirms 684 of them were the Knightsbridge variant.

There were around 5 or so of these cars in the UK, converted to right hand drive. The rest were all sold to mainland Europe and this is where they can normally be found. One or two have made it to Japan. We do not currently know how many were made in each colour, but are working on gathering this information.

If you own one of these special cars, please get in contact with us (see the register page) to register the car - our goal is to track down all the Classic range cars to conclude how many still survive today, and to unite owners of these cars together at displays and mini shows around the country.

So far the colour breakdown is as follows:-
